Possible Solutions

Robert offered three suggested solutions that I will explore below:
1. A hairnet to be worn at all times when in Robby's bed, bathroom, and beyond.
2. A simple haircut that leaves your hair, shall we say, neutralized.
3. The dangling of your head over the side of the mattress at all times when resting (or engaging in other activities) upon it.

1. HAIRNET
The Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points, or more commonly known as the HACCP, did a study to test the benefits of hairnets. The HACCP acknowledges that stray hairs can be annoying and they studied to what extent to go to with preventative measures. Unfortunately, the YouTube video was blocked on my work computer and I was unable to access it to see their conclusion. I am assuming that the results were negative and hairnets are excessive.

Furthermore, hairnets look ridiculous. And people forced to wear them are largely unhappy.

I therefore deem hairnet a non-solution to solve this problem as the goal is mutual satisfaction.

2. HAIRCUT
Although drastic, this bold suggestion seems like a quick solution. However, hair mutilation can have severe effects. Post Haircut Depression is a phenomenon that is being talked about on multiple internet platforms. Targeting women especially, this mental state has yet to be studied at lengths. But the effects can last from one day to three months, or even until the hair returns to its pre-cut glory. The effects can manifest both in universal and very personal ways but regardless of the universality of these "post-haircut blues" there is still hesitation to sympathize with the post-haircutee. This causes feelings of loneliness and isolation.

Because of the lack of study in prevention on this phenomenon, I conclude a haircut to be too drastic a solution. The risks outweigh the potential benefits.

3. DANGLING HEAD
This option seems the easiest to out rule seeing as dangling heads over the mattress is a leading cause of neck pain and neck aches.

It is also noted that after I conducted various geometry problems I have deduced that the angles are all wrong for the participation in other activities.

  1. I see your point about arguments 1-3, but I'd like to provide the following examples of case #2 that was mutually enjoyed by the shaven and their partners:
