The film is ordinary in its technique, nothing screams for attention. In fact, the film feels like it could have been made by a group of amateurs. However, this cinematographic style serves to make the story more engrossing. There are moments when Poffenberger, playing a young CEO, has the camera self facing, as if taking a selfie, to do the filming. By presenting this story in such a raw and intimate form, it ends up being an entirely believable portrayal of a workplace dilemma. The shocking decisions are revealed slowly and then strikingly over the course of the movie make for suspenseful viewing.
The movie title-stealing Natasha, played by a young Mannie K. Wynn, is a character with emotional depth. A sleek, energetic, depth filled and riveting character who brilliantly delves into the disturbing faults that plague humankind. The character of Natasha is dark and unarguable dramatic. And yet, she is a passive character. The actions happen to her, and she lacks influence upon the other characters and her own life.
The real star of the show was the unpredicted and unnamed CEO played by Robert Poffenberger. The nuances of his acting allow the story to speak for themselves, and make it worth the audience's time. Poffenberger improvised in many instances in this film and his dedication to character make the movie what it is - a cinematic masterpiece. The nuanced brilliance of the CEO mastermind is impossible to ignore. His performance crackles with wit, anger, turmoil, and passion.
